Apple stock rose modestly today, trading up approximately 0.70% to around $266.02 as of midday market hours. This gain comes despite heightened geopolitical tensions, with ongoing U.S. and Israeli military operations against Iran now in their third day, including strikes that have escalated regional risks and contributed to broader market caution.
President Donald Trump has initiated a bold effort to reshape the Middle East through “Operation Epic Fury,” a joint U.S.-Israeli military campaign launched on February 28, 2026, aimed at dismantling Iran’s nuclear and missile programs, annihilating its navy, and degrading its proxy terror networks, while explicitly calling for regime change following the neutralization of Iran’s leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei.
Proponents like The Wall Street Journal Editorial Board, argue this decisive action enhances global safety by curbing Iran’s 47 years of aggression, terrorism sponsorship, and threats to U.S. and allied interests, potentially fostering a more stable region and world by weakening the “Axis of Resistance” and preventing nuclear proliferation.
The U.S.-Israeli attack on Iran that began Saturday morning is a necessary act of deterrence against a regime that is the world’s foremost promoter of terrorism. It carries risks as all wars do, but it also has the potential to reshape the Middle East for the better and lead to a safer world. – The Wall Street Journal Editorial Board, March 2, 2026
While early strikes have achieved tactical successes, the long-term geopolitical remodeling remains uncertain amid ongoing hostilities.
The positive performance in Apple’s shares continues to be supported by strong underlying fundamentals from recent quarters. The company’s latest fiscal results showed robust iPhone demand, with significant year-over-year revenue growth driven by the current product lineup. Investors remain optimistic about Apple’s resilient ecosystem, which includes over 2.5 billion active devices worldwide, providing stable recurring services revenue.
Market attention is also turning toward upcoming product announcements, with reports of new iPhone, MacBook, and iPad models expected soon, potentially including refreshes that could drive further consumer interest. Apple’s brand strength continue to position it as a relatively defensive name in the tech sector amid external uncertainties.
While the Middle East conflict — featuring intensified strikes on Iranian targets and retaliatory actions — has raised concerns over potential oil supply disruptions and global economic ripple effects, Apple’s stock has held firm, reflecting investor focus on the company’s long-term innovation pipeline rather than immediate geopolitical headlines. Trading volume today has been steady, with the stock moving in a day’s range roughly between $260 and $266.
MacDailyNews Take: AAPL is, as ever, a safe harbor in a storm—and today’s market action proves it once again.

Apple stock is a safe bet amidst uncertainty. We’ve seen it many times.
President Trump is solving the Iran / Middle East issue once and for all – after Carter let it happen and all subsequent U.S. presidents failed to take decisive action over nearly half a century.
President Trump is already among the Top 3 U.S. Presidents:
1 Washington
2 Lincoln
3 Trump

You haven’t seen anything, yet!
Right now, we want everyone in Iran staying inside. It’s not safe out there. We haven’t even started hitting them hard. The big wave hasn’t even happened. The big one is coming soon. – President Trump, March 2, 2026
President Trump is saving the world.
The Orange Man couldn’t fix anything if you paid him to.
Since Trump started a totally unprovoked war, with zero explanation beforehand to the American public and zero approval or even consultation with Congress, against a sovereign nation, that was doing zero to threaten America, and in the middle of “negotiations” with Iran Trump assassinated the Supreme Leader with no cause, all based on Israel’s demands and not anything to do with American security, for these reasons I am totally rooting for Iran to win as bigly as possible and putting an end to the evil regimes that have turned America and Israel into regimes run like drug cartels, imperious mob bosses who brag about who they murdered in the last month. It sickens me to see America doing this, and while I am glad we will lose, it amazes me there was no plan past the first two days. It also amazes me than on Day 1 the US killed 150 elementary school girls and refuses to acknowledge this or apologize. And all with Iran having done zero to threaten us and even being very reasonable in the negotiations that were active just last Thursday. America deserves the biggest punch in the nose Iran can deliver. Even if it is a like for like repayment of what America did on Day 1.
Unprovoked means that it’s OK with you that Iran killed our Marines in Lebanon, diplomats, soldiers in Iraq, and held a bunch hostage for more than a year you yellow coward of another generation. You make us sick, peacock.
When is this killing of Marines you refer to? Was it in the last 20 years. The last 30 years. And why were the Marines there? You are an imbecile.
According to Kent, it would’ve been smart to give the Iranian cockroaches a nice, clear heads up so they could scurry into their holes with plenty of warning. Now, to be fair, this is only because Kent appears to be severely retarded, bless his heart.
Trump claimed 8 months ago when he first attacked Iran with no provocation that he had completely obliterated all of their nuclear capabilities. Now, Tulsi Gabbard, his own Director on National Intelligence, had advised Trump and Congress that Iran had no nuclear program for military use – none. Trump told her to go to hell. That is what I say to you, First Then, cult member without a brain. I voted for Trump twice but I won’t tolerate a cold blooded liar and killer who operates exclusively for Israel and doesn’t to a damn thing for America. So fuck you.
“all based on Israel’s demands,” with the cries, mass protests & 10’s of thousands of killings having no influence, says a dunderhead.

Funny thing is Orange Man campaigned HEAVILY on Not starting any new wars. He said he was “all about peace” he even set up the Bored of Peace to prove that point…..😂😂😂😂
Thank you. An honest intelligent observant citizen who is not afraid to speak the truth among a crowd of brainless MAGA retards who are OK with Trump lying about everything he said in the campaign. I hope Trump gets a reply from Iran in the language he uses with them. That would be cool.
The MAGA cult routinely suffer from BDS, ODS and memory loss.
Speaking of fighting unnecessary wars, Baron and Kai Trump should both enlist and travel to Iran and actively serve their country on the front line.
And Lindsay Graham should be appointed ambassador to Iran. They like women there.
Quotes from Trump
November 29, 2011: “In order to get elected, @BarackObama will start a war with Iran.”
January 17, 2012: Trump stated that Obama would “attack Iran in order to get re-elected.”
October 9, 2012: “Now that Obama’s poll numbers are in free fall – make sure he doesn’t launch an attack in Libya or Iran. He is desperate.”
August 16, 2012: “I always said @BarackObama will attack Iran, in some form, prior to the election.”
September 16, 2013: “I predict that President Obama will at some point attack Iran in order to save face!”
There is a valid case Iran’s military capabilities should be neutered, but Trump should have made that case with Congress and the American people. Instead, he couldn’t be bothered.
There may be a “case that can be argued” but it would be wrong. Iran is a sovereign nation and has a full right to self defense which obviously includes a military. Israel has several hundred nuclear bombs, held secretly and outside all of the international laws and regulations. Israel also has the entire US DOD at its disposal. Israel has attacked every neighbor including Syria, Lebanon, Iraq, Iran, Egypt, Yemen, Qatar. Iran is wise to have weapons and has been very restrained in their use. Far more restrained than Israel. IMHO. Otherwise, brilliant post.
